In a similar message on Saturday, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani also expressed the hope that with the arrival of the new Gregorian calendar year and in light of the teachings of the divine prophets, which are the main factors of dialogue and understanding among civilizations and nations, the world would witness stability and security and an end to the sufferings of the countless people plagued by oppression, corruption and terrorism.
The Iranian president also prayed God to bestow "health and happiness " on nations across the world and their governments.
