The commander of Khatamolanbya Air Defense Base reported 2 aviation incidents amid Velayat Sky Defenders 7, recently.
"Two airplanes from Philippines and Kazakhstan in their route to Dubai were forced to have an emergency landing due to technical failure”, Brigadier General Esmaeeli said.
"Meanwhile, amid the Velayat Sky Defenders 7 drill, the air defense forces devoted a part of their maneuvering power to help airplanes reach their destination safely. After the rescue mission, the forces immediately engaged in the drill again” he continued.
Brigadier General Esmaeeli remarked that the day was very rainy and cloudy, yet they could help the airplanes.
