Many Turkish businessmen are willing to transfer their manufacturing plants to Iran due to insecurity in Turkey, said an Iranian trade official.
Turkey after transferring manufacturing plants to Iran"Turks are willing to transfer their manufacturing plants to Iran since they believe that Turkish economy is not secure,” said Secretary of Iran-Turkey Joint Business Council Jalal Ebrahimi.

Turkish manufacturing plants working in chemicals, cloth and industrial mesh are willing to start production in Iran.

They are mulling over two Iranian provinces of Khorasan Razawi (northeastern) and East Azerbaijan (northwestern Iran) for their products, he added.

The issue shows conditions of Iran’s economic ties with Turkey have been quite different after the nuclear deal between Iran and G5+1.

"Iran is moving towards better economy and Turkey is not of good economic conditions given the current developments,” he said.

Turks cannot travel to Russia freely or get visa easily which has put Turkish economy in trouble, Ebrahimi said.
