Pakistani Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa said enhanced Pakistan-Iran bilateral military cooperation would have positive impact on regional peace and stability.

Pakistan Army greatly values historical relationship between the two brotherly countries which can never be compromised at any cost, he said in a meeting with Iranian Ambassador to Pakistan Mehdi Honardoost.
 
Honardoos, for his part, appreciated Pakistani Army contributions towards regional peace and stability.
 
He also expressed his appreciation for ongoing Radd-ul-Fasaad military operation which aims to eliminate terrorism in Pakistan.
