Iran said a new report published by the UN Special Rapporteur for Human Rights in Iran Asma Jahangiri is “politically-motivated and unfair”.
Iran: UN new human rights report ‘unfair’
"The Islamic Republic of Iran, as has frequently announced, does not recognize a report made by a special rapporteur who has assumed her mission based on politically-motivated and selective resolution of certain countries,” said Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Qassemi.

The report aims to show opaque image of human rights in Iran, he said, adding a lot of countries which have supported the approach against Iran in the UN Human Rights Council are suffering numerous human rights problems.

"The Islamic Republic of Iran has always rejected double-standards in dealing with human rights conditions in other countries which had damaged the credibility of the human rights bodies of the UN and are a great blow to trust invested upon these bodies,” Ghasemi added.

"We believe selective and politically-motivated approach to the human rights issues will leave the privileged countries free in their mockery of the mechanisms of human rights in the UN and will still support their terrorist proxies,” he concluded.
