Poland lauds JCPOA role in expanding Tehran-Warsaw ties

TEHRAN, April 27, YJC - Polish Deputy Foreign Minister Joanna Wronecka said Iran’s nuclear deal, known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), paved the way for much more extensive cooperation between Iran and Poland.

TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - "We attach considerable importance to expanding all-out ties with Iran. We attach great importance to the JCPOA which did greatly for resuming and expanding cooperation between Iran and Poland. Polish companies are enthusiastic to cooperate with Iran,” she said in a meeting with Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for American and European Affairs Majid Takht-Ravanchi in Warsaw.
 
Poland has opened a commercial office in Tehran, she continued.
 
She continued that the two sides are enjoying considerable potential for cooperation in energy, oil,gas, foodstuff, nuclear medicine, green energy, environment, maritime transport, ship building, research and exchanging students and professors.  
 
Wronecka said her country supports establish direct flights between Iran and Poland.
 
Ravanchi, for his part, said, "There is no limitation for Iran-Poland cooperation. We are ready for bilateral cooperation in various fields. Over recent years, we have seen a rise in exchanging political, parliamentary, economic, cultural and scientific delegations between the two countries. Conditions for cooperation have turned put to be more serious and extensive after the JCPOA.”
