TEHRAN, YJC. Nakhl-gardani is a rite for the remembrance of Imam Hussain’s martyrdom. A huge wooden structure, covered with black cloth, is carried around town as a representation of the Imam’s body which took 40 days before it was brought back to Kerbala and burreid.
