Monday, 20 July 2020_Iran has awarded a contract to a local company for development of one of its largest oilfields, a sign its oil industry would continue to expand despite US sanctions.
TEHRAN, June 21, YJC - The CEO of the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) said a contract on the development of Azadegan Oilfield, located 80 km west of southwestern city of Ahvaz near the Iraqi border, will be signed with a foreign energy company in coming months.
