The former Iraqi Deputy Prime Minister Salam al-Zaubai blasted the advance of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party into the Iraqi soil and related it to Iraq’s political impotence caused by US-Israeli intervention.
He said "In a provocative action, Turkey has dispatched armed members of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party into Iraq without the country’s consent, rather taking advantage of its internal problems.”
Al-Zaubai stated that members of the party are listed as terrorists and said that ethnic conflicts have encouraged Turkey to act as it has.
He added "The Iraqi Kurd tap into the unstable political situations to make achievements anyway possible.”
