Tehran, YJC. Lawmaker has demanded Rouhani to clarify his notion of moderation lest it holds some liberal aspect.

Elyas Naderan said "We expect Mr. Rouhani to define moderation in a way that will prevent misuse.”

He added "Rouhani is a politically accomplished figure for his range of activities. He knows different currents and although he is friends with figures like Hashemi and Nateq, he has enough independence in decision-making.”

Naderan then asserted "Those who supported the 09 sedition will have no position in the new administration. The Majlis will be sensitive to them. Their case was closed forever.”

Naderan’s statements about the discontent leaders of the 09 incidents called sedition come despite the Attorney General Mohseni Ejei saying in his press conference on Monday that not all of the discontent figures are to be banned from governmental positions.
