Tehran, YJC. Araqchi has said that the news about Putin’s to-be trip to Iran is false.

Abbas Araqchi said on Wednesday in an interview with YJC on news regarding the
Russian President’s trip to Iran on August 16 "The news is not correct and I do
not confirm it.”
He added
"Of course there has been great favor for the inauguration of Dr. Hassan Rouhani
by regional countries. Next week we will announce the full list of the
countries present in this ceremony.”
Earlier
some national websites had quoted Kommersant saying that Putin was to visit Tehran
in near future.
Some
sources had also quoted Sanaei, Head of the Iran-Russia Parliamentary
Friendship Group, stating that Putin would make his trip to Iran by sea.
