Tehran, YJC. Naqavi Hosseini says that the US does not like the nuclear talks to produce a clear outcome.

The spokesman of the Majlis Committee for National Security said in interview with Mosalas Online "The president is fully aware of the nuclear case, because he used to be in charge of it and was present at the negotiations. He fully knows the aspects of the case. Also, Dr. Zarif has been there in the negotiation process and knows the developments. So, it will be possible for the Foreign Ministry to pursue the nuclear case.”

Hossein Naqavi Hosseini added "In fact, with Dr. Rouhani's command of the issue, if he decides to transfer the nuclear case from the National Security Committee to the Foreign Ministry, he is sure to have pondered the advantages and disadvantages of doing so.”

The Varamin representative in the parliament asserted "The US is the main reason why negotiations do not come to a conclusion. They do not like the talks to bear fruit. The actions they take and positions they adopt in the Congress and the White House show that they do not want the talks to bear fruit.”

He added "If 5+1 solve their problem with the US and the Europeans are able tp play a bigger role in the nuclear case then they will be able to reach better results.”

Hosseini also pointed to the secretaryship of the Supreme National Security Council and said "It is one of the President’s privileges to appoint the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council. Figures such as Forouzandeh and Velayati are expected for the position.”

He said that the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council plays an important role in the nuclear sphere of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and that Aliakbar Velayati is an outstanding, well-known figure, adding "So if he is introduced, the stature of the council will be upheld.”
