TEHRAN, March 22 - Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Qassemi said relationship with neighboring countries is Iran’s first priority.
TEHRAN,Young Journalists Club (YJC) - Qassemi described as ‘positive’ remarks of Kuwaiti defense minister in the opening ceremony of an investment conference in Tehran, and said, “Iran has always regarded relationship with neighbors as the first priority in its diplomacy of cooperation.”
“Iran believes that an advanced, strong and safe region will not come true unless by collective cooperation and participation of all neighbors.”
He added welfare, development and economic progress of regional countries would happen through collective mechanisms and settlement of disagreements by means of talks and participation of all regional countries.
“Iran has always been and is ready to take steps towards this path,” he said.
