Iran’s non-oil exports to Turkey surge by 30 percent

TEHRAN, March 23 - The volume of Iran’s trading with Turkey increased in first 11 months of past Iranian calendar year (March 21, 2017 – February 19, 2018) comparing to similar period in the year before, said Iranian Commercial Attaché to Ankara Hamid Zadboum.

He said Iran’s imports from Turkey jumped by 26.7 percent hitting $3 billion, Zadboum said.

Iran’s whole exports to Turkey surged by 59 percent in 2017, reaching $7.5 billion, he said, adding the figures show the volume of mutual trade between the two countries is on the rise.

Zadboum continued the process is regarded a positive one and in line with reaching the target of $30 billion mutual trade to develop bilateral balanced economic ties.
