TEHRAN, April 20 - Some 10,000 people were evacuated from an 800m radius around Berlin Central Station after a 500kg (1,100lbs) World War II-era bomb was found by construction workers on Friday.

The departure board in the railway station showed several trains were delayed and cancelled due to the bomb disposal operation, with officials promising replacement services.
Every year around two tons of WWII explosives are discovered in the German capital, according to statistics, although they rarely force mass evacuations.
