TEHRAN, August 8 - Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said the ‘unreliable US’ refuses to comply with any of its commitments.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - In a meeting with North Korean Foreign Minister Ri Yong-ho here in Tehran, Rouhani referred to unilateral withdrawal of the US from the nuclear deal and said, “US administration’s performance over previous years has made it as an unreliable country in the world, a country which refuses to comply with any of its commitments.”
He also said establishing entire peace and security in Korean peninsula is what the Islamic Republic of Iran is looking for.
Rouhani said Iran is after expanding bilateral ties with Pyongyang.
Ri Yong-ho, for his part, said, North Korea is seeking expansion of bilateral ties with Iran and confronting unilateralism.
He also said US pulling out of the nuclear deal and its efforts to re-impose sanctions against Iran is a wrong move which runs counter to international principles.
