Tehran, YJC. Majlis speaker says the tactical approach to terrorism fails.

Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani meeting former UN Secretary General Kofi Anan in Tehran stated that the world’s superpowers and international organizations fail to cope with terrorism because they adopt tactical approaches instead of a radical one.

Larijani further said "Following the occupation of Iraq and Afghanistan there came to the global stage the new terrorism where highly radical currents across the world and in all continents and lands started performing acts of terror.”

He added "The ultimate reason why superpowers and international organizations fail to uproot terrorism is their lack of a radical approach and recourse to tactical ways in meeting this vile phenomenon.”

Kofi Anan who is leading The Elders to Iran met with the parliamentary Speaker of Iran on Tuesday evening.
