Tehran, YJC. Defense Minister has warned against any deal with the West which is going to compromise Iran’s military capabilities.
Defense Minister Major General Hossein Dehghan who was speaking with Fars news agency on Wednesday in reaction to Western claims that Iran’s missile technology has to be introduced to the nuclear talks said "The missile power is our concern. We are responsible for it and we will not stand any interference by anyone.”

Stressing the point that Iran’s missile technology will not be negotiable under any circumstances he said "They have introduced the probability that Iran may gain access to nuclear warheads for the missiles. As for that matter we would have to say that according to the Supreme Leader’s verdict it is not allowed to use nuclear weapons. Such mass destruction weapons not only have no place in the doctrine of the Islamic Republic of Iran, they are considered as something undesirable, condemnable, and haraam. Therefore we are not seeking nuclear weapons and the issue is completely done with.”

"Once more I have to say that Iran’s defense equipment is not nor will ever be the subject of negotiations,” he asserted.
