TEHRAN, YJC. --Yemen’s Interior Ministry apologized to Iran for publishing false news of seizing an Iranian ship carrying weapons to the Yemeni oppositions.
Russia Al Youm reported that Yemen’s Interior Ministry had earlier announced that it has seized an Iranian ship near that country’s coast. They claimed that the ship was carrying weapons to rebels groups in Yemen.
Yemeni officials claimed name of the ship was "World Two” and was carrying weapons, and intended to deliver its cargo to a fishing boat near the Bab el-Mandeb port.
Yemeni Interior Ministry officials apologized for the publication of such news, and described it as unintentional error.
