Saturday,24 July 2021 (YJC)_ An assistant professor of IPI announced that Iran is about to register the Iranian-made coronavirus vaccine in WHO.
An assistant professor of Pasteur Institute of Iran (IPI) Dr. Asghar Abdoli, announced on Saturday that Iran is about to register the Iranian-made coronavirus vaccine in WHO.
“Iran needs to initially submit all the required documents about its homemade vaccine to WHO,” he said while adding that “Also, we need to defend all of its scientific claims and documents.”
Elsewhere in his remarks he said that the first article on the pre-clinical or animal studies phase of COVIran Barekat will be published soon while noting that “Iran published the 1st article on COVIran Barekat at BioRxiv in mid-June.”
According to him, “Safety and Potency of COVIran Barekat Inactivated Vaccine Candidate for SARS-CoV-2: A Preclinical Study,” was the title of the article in question.
Mass production of the Iranian-made anti-Coronavirus began at a pharmaceutical factory run by the Execution of Imam Khomeini Order (EIKO) in Tehran in mid-May.
