The secretary of Iran's expediency council says the unity of the Muslim countries against the ISIL Takfiri terrorist group obviates the need for any foreign military intervention in the Muslim territories.
"The military forces of the Muslim countries can eradicate the ISIL’s scourge and we see no need for the military interference of foreign forces in Muslim territories,” said Mohsen Rezaei in a meeting with the Jordanian ambassador to Iran in the capital, Tehran, on Saturday.

The Iranian official also touched upon the brutal murder of a Jordanian pilot by the ISIL militants, saying such actions will only precipitate the terrorist groups’ downfall.

"This deed has aroused the feelings of Muslims and the world’s people against the ISIL terrorist group… ISIL thought it could instill fright and terror in the fighters’ hearts by portraying the cold-blooded murder of a pilot. This is while this incident broke the Muslims’ hearts and reinforced the Muslims’ will to eradicate this Takfiri group,” Rezaei stated.

The Jordanian ambassador, for his part, expressed his gratitude to the Iranian nation and government for their condemnation of the pilot’s killing.

The regional countries will ultimately triumph over the ISIL ideology in this military and cultural war, said Abdullah Sulaiman Abdullah Abu Romman.

On February 3, ISIL posted a video online showing the Takfiri terrorists setting alight the Jordanian pilot, Moaz al-Kassasbeh.

The video showed Kassasbeh dressed in an orange jumpsuit and surrounded by flames of fire inside a metal cage.

The pilot was captured by ISIL in December when his plane came down in northern Syria during a mission against the terrorist group.

The ISIL terrorist group, with members from several Western countries, controls parts of Iraq and Syria, and has been involved in a series of heinous crimes against civilians and government forces in the two Arab countries.

In recent weeks, the Iraqi and Syrian forces have clinched decisive victories against the Takfiri terrorists and recaptured many areas.
