Iranian Minister of Road and Urban Development Abbas Akhoundi said Iran’s agreement with Boeing would not be annulled by Trump’s order.
Minister: Iran-Boeing agreement not to be annulled by Trump’s order"Our agreement with Boeing is a commercial one and will not be annulled by US presidents order,” he said.

His remarks came after certain media have recently claimed that Iran Air’s deal with Boeing to buy planes is likely to be canceled since it is in contradiction with some administrative orders of new US president.

Iran Air recently sealed separate agreement to buy 80 planes from US manufacturer Boeing, beginning next year.

The deal – which involves 50 Boeing 737s and 30 777 airliners worth $16.6 billion - was Iran's biggest yet with an American company since the 1979.

Iran Air is also expected to seal an order for 20 turboprops from European manufacturer ATR.
On January 11, Iran delivered the first of 100 Airbus planes that Iran is expected to receive after its historic nuclear deal with the P5+1 groups of countries.

The arrival of the Airbus A321 is believed to be the beginning of a new era for Iran.

From now on, Iran can boost its international deals in several domains next to aviation.
