Iran 5th in uranium enrichment: IRGC official

Tehran, YJC. Commander of the Revolutionary Guards of Garmsar county has said that Iran has made great progress in nuclear science to become the 5th country in the world.

Reza Ghanbari said in interview with Fars "Acquiring the uranium enrichment technology, scientists of the Islamic Republic of Iran endowed the country with peaceful nuclear energy.”

"The achievements come in spite of problems made by world arrogance and Western countries, after which they decided to impose harsh sanctions on Iran,” he added.

Commander of the Garmsar County Revolutionary Guards said "With the nuclear technology in medical sciences and pharmaceuticals we have had great advances in treating diseases.”

He added "I hope that with achievements in nuclear energy the Iranian people would taste the pleasure of fighting nuclear arrogance in the field of nuclear technology.”
