TEHRAN, November 28 - The Secretary General of World Forum for Islamic Proximity announced the holding of the first international conference of Islamic Unity from December 5 to December 7, 2017, saying that 250 guests from 70 different countries will attend the conference.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - Ayatollah Araki noted that the conference hosts high-profile scientific and religious figures most of them will attend the conference for the first time.
He asserted that the attendance of such a great number of figures of the World of Islam indicates the fact that the World of Islam is converging and its great concern is unity and decisive confrontation with global Arrogance.
Referring to the recent victories of Resistance Front and the defeat of the Takfiris terrorist control over Syria and Iraq, Ayatollah Araki said "We are on the verge of a new transformation in the region and the World of Islam and its great sign is the victory of Resistance axis which has created convergence in the World of Islam and raised up theflag of unity more than ever before”.
The Secretary General of World Forum for Islamic Proximity mentioned the conference as a big step toward unity and resistance against global Arrogance.
Setting up numerous commissions on the issues Islam’s world and celebrating Prophet Mohammad’s (PBUH) birthday as well as poem citing ceremony in Qom, among the programs to be held on the sidelines of the conference.
