Tehran, YJC. Head of the Trade Promotion Organization of Iran has said that Iran has exported $38 b non-oil products to 150 countries.
Hamid Safdel said today in the sidelines of a ceremony for honoring top exporters "In the past 11 months Iran has exported $38 b non-oil products. In 2005 for each 3 import units there existed only one export unit, but in the past 11 months 70 percent of the currency for import has been provided by the export section.”
He provided comments that there are 3,000 goods items in the non-oil export section and said "One hundred and fifty countries are Iran's export targets, but in the current [Iranian] year most of the export has gone to Iraq, China, UAE, Afghanistan, India, Pakistan, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, and Turkey, making these countries our top customers in non-oil export.”
Head of the Trade Promotion Organization of Iran said "In the ninth administration a $40 b non-oil export was scheduled. Natural-gas condensates aside, there has been a $58 b export. In the tenth administration up to the end of last [Iranian] year [the end of last March] a $68 b export was planned, while worth $81 b was exported, natural-gas condensates excluded.”
"In the last year technical service was exported worth $4.2 b,” he added.
Safdel also said that this year natural-gas condensates have undergone a 10 percent; and petrochemical products a 30 percent decrease in export.
He added that in the other fields there has been increase in export.
