Negotiations with Iran over its nuclear program is to resume in February, German media quoted European Union foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton as saying Monday.
"This is an important first step, but more work will be needed to fully address the international community s concerns regarding the exclusively peaceful nature of the Iranian nuclear program," Ashton said in Brussels.
"Over the coming six months, proper implementation of the agreed measures will be key," added Ashton, who has represented the six world powers (US, Russia, China, France, Britain plus Germany) in negotiations with Iran.
