Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran held a meeting with President Rouhani and his cabinet members on Monday.
In addition to domestic affairs, ayatollah Khamenei pointed to recent developments in the Palestinian land and said "The Gaza incidents are really catastrophic. The Zionist regime commits such crimes using the torpidity of the Islamic world.”
Expressing gratitude to Hassan Rouhani for his decisive stance against recent violence over Gaza which took the lives of many civilians, women and children included, he said "The massacre of the people of Gaza by the occupying Zionists should bring Islamic nations and states to their senses to abandon disagreements and become united.”
