TEHRAN, September 12 - The Bakhtiari are a southwestern Iranian tribe, and a subgroup of the Lurs. They speak the Bakhtiari dialect, a southwestern Iranian dialect, belonging to the Lurish language.
TEHRAN, YJC. The Bakhtiari cultural festival is held every New Year by Bakhtiari tribes. The festival includes reading the Shahnameh, playing local games, music, dance, shooting, horse riding and wearing costumes.
