Tehran, YJC. Al-Shehabi has said that the Bahraini revolution is the longest in the world and still progressing with great force.

Member of the Bahrain Freedom Movement Saeed al-Shehabi said in an interview with Tasnim "The Bahraini nation’s revolution in fact started in 1922 and today it is marching along more powerfully than ever.”

"In these past 90 years the opponents have remained the same. The regime is also the same and no change has been made in the affairs of the country,” he added.

Shehabi asserted that currently the revolution is in its most robust phase and said "Since 90 years ago whenever the Bahraini nation rises the revolution is stronger than before. Although its strength may decline every once in a while due to Khaliphi massacres, once it rises again it surges along with more force. So I believe that this revolution will topple the Bahraini regime sooner or later.”

Shahabi termed the occupation of Bahrain by Saudi Arabia as the empowerment of the law of the jungle over the country and said "The Saudi occupation of Bahrain which started two years ago proved the power of the jungle and revived the principle that the country with more power can force injustice on other countries.”
