TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - “This move is definitely wrong and shameful which can stain image of Arab countries,” said Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Qassemi on Monday.
“….Some signs suggest that a number of Arab countries which are few have already been aware of Mr. Trump’s decision and there have been some coordination between them which is a clear betrayal to moral of Palestine, holy Quds and the Islamic World.”
He also called US decision on Jerusalem al-Quds unwise and ‘very dangerous’ under current circumstance, saying that dealing with this action needs solidarity and unity of Islamic World and Arab World.
“However Arab countries give a chance to the US to take such steps and announce such positions through unilateral move.”
Qassemi warned that the move would be ultimately detrimental to Washington.
A few days ago, US President Donald Trump said that the US would relocate its embassy to Jerusalem al-Quds from Tel Aviv.
The move by Trump received negative reaction from almost all of Washington's allies, namely the European Union, the UK, Germany and France.
