TEHRAN, February 25 - Iranian Ambassador to Pakistan Mehdi Honardoust said that launching Iran-Pakistan pipeline is subjected to complying with commitments by Pakistan.
TEHRAN,Young Journalists Club (YJC) - “Iran has carried out its obligations to accomplish the gas pipeline to Pakistan,” he said, adding, “Launching the gas pipeline is subjected to living up to commitments by the Pakistani side.”
He said Iran has completed establishing the pipeline near shared borders of the two countries.
The ambassador said the time of sanctions has been over and Iran-Pakistan friendly ties are on the rise. “We expect Pakistani officials to take steps towards launching the project.”
He noted Iran enjoying huge amount of energy is willing to meet energy needs of Pakistan in oil, gas and electricity fields.
