TEHRAN, April 19 - Iran, Russia, Iraq and Syria held a quartet intelligence committee session attended by Iranian Defense Minister Amir Hatami.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - Security and military officials of the 4 countries attended the session in Iraq.
During the session, Hatami, said a coalition formed by the 4 countries based on will of their leaders has performed seriously and influentially in defeating Daesh terrorist group.
He said those claiming that they are advocating peace in the region have turned out to be the most criminal governments acting against defenseless people in Iraq, Syria and Yemen.
He noted they are misusing excuses to legitimize any aggression under the name of human rights.
Enemies are trying to damage recent gains on fighting terrorism an example could be recent attack by the US, UK and France on Syria and frequent attacks by Zionist regime on Syria.
At the end of the session, representatives of Iraq, Syria and Russia lauded Iran’s decisive role in battling Daesh and terrorism and outlined a report on their intelligence activities.
