Tehran 30 April_The Saudi war on the impoverished people of Yemen has become a quagmire for Saudi Arabia as the Vietnam War became a quagmire for the United States in the 1960s and ‘70s, according to Dennis Etler, an American political analyst who has a decades-long interest in international affairs.

Yemen war a quagmire for Saudi Arabia like America’s Vietnam War: ScholarEtler, a former professor of Anthropology at Cabrillo College in Aptos, California, made the remarks in a phone interview with Press TV on Thursday as Washington marked the 45th anniversary of its humiliating exit from Vietnam on April 30, 1975 after twenty years of death and destruction there.

Many independent analysts are comparing the Saudi war on the impoverished people of Yemen to the Vietnam War.
