TEHRAN, YJC. -- The North Korean leader, Kim Jong-Un, has threatened to strike on a South Korean Baengnyeong Island if the conflict on the Korean Peninsula keeps exacerbating.
This came in a report Tuesday by the Korean Central News Agency of North Korea.
Kim Jong-Un made his statement during an inspection of artillery units. Meanwhile, the US State Department official spokesperson, Victoria Nuland, has reiterated that the US will redeem its pledge to guarantee South Korea’s and Japan’s security.
North Korea’s threats came against the backdrop of the joint South Korea-US war games that kicked off on March 1st.
