Sunday, 29 May 2022 (YJC)_ Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces said the pilotless aircraft have enhanced Iran's deterrence power.
During a visit to a secret underground drone base, the Army Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, Major General Mohammad Bagheri said the pilotless aircraft have enhanced Iran's deterrence power.
He went on to appreciate the country's achievements in developing different types of drones and said the pilotless aircraft have enhanced Iran's deterrence power.
He went on to refer to the significance of drones in defending the country's interests and noted “a special place in different defensive, offensive, land, sea, air and air defense areas is due to having them. Deterrence is not possible with old methods and equipment and requires new methods.”
“Iran will never underestimate any threat,” he finally noted.
A new cruise missile with a range of 200km fired from drones is unveiled on Saturday.
