TEHRAN, August 21 - Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Qassemi deplored a recent move by the US administration to form an "Iran Action Group" to raise pressure on the Islamic Republic, saying it calls to mind the coup d'état in Iran orchestrated by Washington and London in 1953.
TEHRAN, August 17 - The US State Department has formed an “Iran Action Group” to coordinate and run an aggressive US policy toward the Islamic Republic on the eve of the 65th anniversary of a previous American action against Iran - the CIA-led 1953 coup against the democratically elected government of Mohammad Mosaddegh.
