Iran never chooses war, but exercises right to self-defense: UN envoy

TEHRAN, May 21- Iran’s ambassador to the United Nations reiterated the country’s defense doctrine in the face of US threats, saying the Islamic Republic will never choose war but will “vigorously exercise its inherent right to self-defense”.
