TEHRAN, January 30 - Jordan’s King Abdullah II has vowed to stand by the Palestinian cause, calling on the international community to defend the Palestinian nation’s right to Jerusalem al-Quds amid US and Israeli attempts to change the ancient city’s status quo.
The United States and Israel are trying to sow discord among Muslim and Arab nations and divert them from one of the main problems of the Middle East, which is agony of the Palestinian people, says Jamal Wakim, a professor at the Lebanese International University from Beirut.
