Yahya Al Eshaq: Mashaei’s
taste has no place in the Islamic Republic.
- Abutorabi: I have regularly talked with Ahmadinejad on the Deviant Current. Some try to consider them as a current.
- Bahonar: I do not believe the Deviant Current story. Current refers to something with social belongings; therefore we would better call it a Deviant Circle.
- Pourmohammadi: Mashaei’s disqualification will cause no tension. Mashaei is no big deal. The country is more stable than to be shaken by a couple of words. If the Guardian Council qualifies him, he would be our rival, if not, he would be and ordinary person like everyone.
- Jahangiri: The government’s representative is someone other than Mashaei. Someone else will represent the governmental side.
- Haddad Adel: We will neutralize the Deviant Current. Mashaei will be disqualified.
- Qalibaf: Deviance and dogmatism hinder political breakthrough. Political breakthrough will not come by sentimental elections, slander, lies, pietism, political acrobatics, or sectionalism.
- Mohsen Rezaei: I will not speak for now. If this man runs for presidency then I will say what I have to say. If some day I find Ahmadinejad against the Guardianship I will not give him a moments’ rest and, if necessary, I will decipher this current.
