"When it comes to relations between regional countries and Iran, we have always believed that friendly ties between Iran and (Persian) Gulf Cooperation Council are possible and this is the same approach adopted by Qatari government.”

Zarif, for his part, stressed boosting mutual cooperation between Iran and Qatar, especially in economic sector, investment and banking.
