Tehran, YJC. Lawmaker says that the President has acted against the law in the health section, therefore legally liable.

Masoud Pezeshkian in an interview provided comments on the President’s operation in health and said "In terms of health he has acted against the law and he must have been indicted.”

"The government has not adhered to the law articles at all and officials in different ranks, from the Majlis or the Judiciary, have never reprimanded him. Who is the President to act against the law? A crime is a crime. It does not make sense if you try me when I commit a crime, and yet you applaud the executive of the Law whenever he commits one. What logic is that?” Pezeshkian demanded.

He added "The Health Committee has reported the President’s infringements to the Judiciary but so far the issue has not been pursued.”
