TEHRAN, July 30, YJC -Failing to repeal and replace former President Barack Obama’s signature healthcare law has triggered continued fighting between US President Donald Trump and the Congress.

TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) -Despite having the majority in both chambers of the Congress and a president in the White House, the Republicans have so far failed to repeal Obamacare to pave the way for Trumpcare as a replacement.

"Unless the Republican Senators are total quitters, Repeal & Replace is not dead!" Trump tweeted Saturday. "Demand another vote before voting on any other bill!"

In an embarrassment for the former businessman, who had campaigned for the White House on what he said were his skills as a dealmaker, the initiative has failed to draw enough support from within Trump's own party.
"After seven years of 'talking' Repeal & Replace, the people of our great country are still being forced to live with imploding ObamaCare!" Trump said. "If a new HealthCare Bill is not approved quickly, BAILOUTS for Insurance Companies and BAILOUTS for Members of Congress will end very soon!"

The latest effort to destroy the Affordable Care Act collapsed in the Senate early Friday, when lawmakers failed to reach a consensus even for a "skinny repeal" of ObamaCare.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has said that it is time to "move on" from healthcare legislation.

“I regret that our efforts were simply not enough this time. Now, I imagine many of our colleagues on the other side are celebrating. Probably pretty happy about all this. But the American people are hurting, and they need relief,” McConnell said Friday. "Now I think it's appropriate to ask, what are their ideas? It'll be interesting to see what they suggest as the way forward."
