International criminal court for complaints against US to be operational

Tehran, YJC. Tehran Attorney General says that the International Criminal Complex for Complaints against the US is to be launched after the Ramadan.

ISNA reports that Abbas Jafari Dolatabadi said "Rogatory commissions, reclamations, foreign national cases, and Iranian files against foreigners were previously dealt with sporadically. We decided to coalesce all these areas.”

He asserted "We proposed to the head of the Judiciary to launch an international complex for complains against the US which includes the court so that these issues can be dealt with in a concentrated way.”

Jafari Dolatabadi said that the reason for launching the complex is to take care of reclamations on the international scene as well as foreign nationals and their actions, and claims by Iranian nationals against foreign countries, especially the US.”

"One example of the latter case which can be mentioned is a recent one which, published also in the press, where an Iranian citizen filed a suit against the US,” he added.

He said that the launching of the complex has been agreed to and the head of the organization assigned, and that it will commence operation after the Ramadan.
