Theran, YJC. Iran has won Russia on the final day of the 2013 Freestyle Wrestling World Cup to become the champion of this year.

As Iran stood at the first place last night, Russia and the United States stood next.

The competitions were held at the 12,000-seat court of the Azadi Sports Complext, Tehran.

The awards were given by the President Mr. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran congratulated both the Freestyle and Greco-Roman-style wrestlers on their success, expressing hope that the Iranian youth would be successful in all fields, especially in the area of sports.
 
The competitions had opened on February 21.
 
The Iranian Greco-Roman wrestlers came second in the competitions, leaving the first place to Russia.
 
The Greco-Roman competitions had opened in Tehran on February 19.
