TEHRAN, December 16 - Hujjat al-Islam Jamshidi said, “At the UN summit in Geneva in 2016, KowsarNet won one of the top places in one of the 16 categories.”

TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - In a meeting with the head of the Statistics Center of Iran, Hujjat al-Islam Mohammad Reza Jamshidi described KowsarNet as the largest scientific, research and religious network of women in the world and said, “There’s a total of 518 women Islamic seminaries throughout the country, Including Jamiat al-Zahra Islamic University and those in provinces of Razavi, South and North Khorasan.”

He noted, “481 seminaries throughout the country are running under the supervision of the management center of Women Islamic Seminary and more than 84,000 female clerics study at these schools.”
Stating that Iran’s women’s seminaries are one of the pioneers in the field of cyberspace, Hujjat al-Islam Jamshidi said, “At the UN summit in Geneva in 2016, KowsarNet won one of the top places in one of the 16 categories.” The Shia cleric added, “This network is the largest scientific, research and religious network for women in the world.”
Referring to the launch of the Amin Data Center, head of Iran’s women seminaries stated, “Amin Data Center is one of the most advanced data centers in the Middle East and has been designed and implemented by the Information Technology center of the women’s seminary at the lowest possible cost which shows the progress of the women seminary in the field of Information technology.”
