TEHRAN, January 22 - Iran is going to increase oil recovery from joint oil fields to 350.000 barrels by the end of this year (March 20, 2018), said Iranian Government Spokesman Mohammad-Bagher Nobakht.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - Iran has decided to increase oil recovery to 350.000 barrels from Yadavaran, Yaran and Azadegan fields for this year, he said.
Nobakht said that the project is proceeding well.
He added the amount of oil recovery from joint fields reached 277.000 barrels from 70.000 barrels from 2014, and it should hit 350.000 barrels by end of this year.
The project received $8 billion, he said.
The spokesman said oil fields shared by Iran and its neighbors have been in priority as to increasing oil recovery.
