Tehran, YJC. Lawmaker says that the US must prove that it is not intending to play the wolf in relations with Iran.
"America is a country which has followed its enmity with our country since the beginning of the revolution. It has made no bones to attack us from all economic, cultural, and political sides,” said Pejmanfar, member of the Principalist parliamentary group, pointing to Rouhani's trip to New York and the outlook of future Iran-US relations.

He asserted "In making relations with the US all sides must be studied carefully, because the US has to the date violated our rights. It has brought down our civil airplane, attacked us indirectly, and blocked part of the nation’s assets.”

Pejmanfar pointed out "The first step in starting relations with the US is to see whether it has changed its approach or not, but so far no behavior has been seen to show that they intend to change their approach to Iran.”

The member of the Principalist parliamentary faction demanded "If the US is for talks, it must return our blocked assets and officially apologize for the behavior it has had toward our nation. It must prove that its relations with Iran are not of the wolf-sheep type where it would look at us from above.”

"If the US shows that it has changed its ways we will have no problem in starting relations with them,” he added.
