Tehran, YJC. Top nuclear negotiator says Iran is going to discuss the level of uranium enrichment and not its suspension in the upcoming negotiation with the Six Majors.

Abbas Araqchi, diplomat and member of the Iranian nuclear negotiation team, appeared on a talk show on Sunday evening to discuss the upcoming Iran-Six Powers talks in Geneva.

Araqchi said "The enrichment and its continuation is the red line for us and we will allow no suspension or limitation of it. But as for the extent and level of enrichment we will talk and will answer all concern.”

"The transfer of the material out of the country is another red line for us. We will not let one gram of the material out, because we believe these are the country’s belongings and much effort has been put into bringing them to higher levels,” he asserted.

The head of the Iranian negotiation team at the upcoming Iran-5+1 talks added "If the West shows goodwill we will conclude the negotiations in 6 months to one year.”

He added that there are signs of change in the West’s attitude and that the grounds are laid for the rights of the Iranian nation to be recognized.

Araqchi further added that Israel tries in the nuclear case, as in everywhere, to agitate the Western side against Iran. He asked the Six Majors not to allow Israel decide for them what they want.
