Tehran, YJC. Lawmaker says Iran can sign the Additional Protocol only toward the end of nuclear talks when it is clear what advantages the West will be going to offer to Iran.
Ali Motahari, Tehran representative to the Majlis
and member of the Culture Committee, in interview with YJC provided to Iran’s
position regarding the Additional Protocol and said "It is not time yet to sign
the protocol. We must do so once negotiations approach their final days. Because
then it will have been clear what advantages the West will be going to give to Iran.”
Motahari also pointed to the to-be ministers
recently proposed to the Majlis for qualification and said "The ministers of
education and research enjoy favorable regards from lawmakers. But I believe
that the proposed minster of youth affairs and sports does not have enough
chances.”
