His billboards caused a lot of controversy both when erected across the city and after they were removed by the City Council.

Ehsan Mohammad Hassani, is 33 and he is the Director of Owj Art Media Agency, the organization that published and installed a set of anti-US billboards across the city of Tehran.

Prior to his position at the agency, he was the Deputy of Arts at the Foundation for the Preservation and Publication of Sacred Defense Values.

The anti-US billboards were set up in the days of Iran-West nuclear talks and a few weeks after Iran and the US started to show willingness to strengthen bonds.

The billboards were gathered by the Tehran City Council, followed by severe criticism by some political groups.
